- ➤ WITN is working with Saving Graces 4 Felines to help find homes for foster cats like VC Andrews who loves playtime and cuddles—two kittens remain available with a $95 adoption fee and complete health checks. WITN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today, ECU trustees approved a tuition hike that will raise in-state undergrad fees 3% to $4,585 per semester and non-resident fees to $20,936 per semester while also increasing several student fees — the full board will vote on the changes tomorrow with final approval needed from the UNC Board of Governors. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ After Congress ended the shutdown, NCDHHS fully loaded all November SNAP benefits on EBT cards by Friday morning—about 600,000 households received their full amounts after earlier partial payments had reduced benefits. Pitt County
