- ➤ The City of Greenville and ECU Student Government Association are holding a winter coat drive called 'Bundle Up, Greenville!' through November 23rd to help students in Pitt County Schools and families at Greenville Community Shelter stay warm this winter—donations of new or gently used coats, socks, gloves, and scarves are welcomed. Organizers say the drive meets a strong local need as temperatures drop later tonight. WITN

- ➤ Communities across eastern Carolina are honoring veterans today with a ceremony in Greenville at Town Common Memorial (105 E. 1st Street) at 11 a.m. featuring speakers Governor Josh Stein, N.C. Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Secretary Jocelyn Mallette, and Mayor P.J. Connelly—other towns hold memorial services and offer free meals to veterans. WITN
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ ECU Pirates will face the Memphis Tigers on Saturday at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for Senior Day, as the team tries to break a four-way tie for second in the conference standings—Memphis coming off a loss—and improve its bowl selection chances. The Pirates now hold a record of 6 to 3 with a three-game winning streak and aim to finish the season strong. WITN
