- ➤ ECU’s Graduate School held its annual three-minute thesis competition on Monday—graduate students presented their research on one slide to a panel of judges. The winner will represent ECU at the upcoming regional competition in Baton Rouge. WITN
- ➤ Dr. Diane Majewski directs special projects at ECU Honors College where she creates events and trips that help about 900 students feel connected and succeed academically — she also leads local service programs like Book Bag Buddies and organizes traditions such as a pinning ceremony that build strong student bonds. - ➤ WITN hosted its first Pumpkin Toss where meteorologist Charlie Ironmonger and anchor Baileigh Bockover led a contest that challenged participants to toss carved pumpkins into buckets—teaching viewers eco-friendly ways to dispose of jack-o'-lanterns after Halloween by composting or donating them for animal feed.
