- ➤ Hope Middle School has renovated its media center with nearly $60,000 from the West Memorial Fund, Pitt County Schools announced — the grant provided funds for new technology and resources. The Daily Reflector
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The state warned that 1.4 million North Carolinians will lose SNAP benefits next month if the federal shutdown continues because it has not received the needed funding. Gov. Josh Stein urged USDA to use federal contingency funds to support vulnerable families and prevent hunger. WITN
