- ➤ Striving with Vision hosted its third annual fall festival at Dream Park in Greenville, where families enjoyed free meals, games and community fun. Local volunteers and residents praised the event and noted that future fall festivals are planned + the organization continues its outreach in the community. WITN
- ➤ Pitt County Animal Shelter hosted its first trunk or treat event on Saturday with cars offering candy for kids and pups and costumed guests enjoying games—shelter volunteers guided adoptable dogs and collected donations for local literacy programs. Although adoptions were not offered, families can contact Pitt County Animal Services for more details. WITN
