Joseph’s Provisions Food Pantry received barely any supplies last Saturday—Director Theresa Purnell said rising food costs and a federal supply shutdown left shelves nearly empty and about a hundred people waiting for help; the pantry will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and urges the community to donate food. This shortage puts local families at risk of missing meals if donations do not increase soon.
