Legacy Days expanded its schedule to a three-day event that celebrates eastern North Carolina history — the festivities will take place in Grifton from Friday through Sunday.

Pitt County Schools earned national recognition for innovative healthy meals—one of 14 districts statewide to win the Healthy Meal Incentive Award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Action for Healthy Kids.
