  • On Saturday afternoon, a 'Save the Homeless' event took place on Tenth and Evans Street to help those in need in Greenville. Volunteers collected about 100 donations and worked with local groups—such as affordable housing group Steadystep—to provide essential resources and direct extra items to a domestic violence center.  WITN

  • County Home Road near Gardnerville Road is closed due to a ruptured Eastern Pines waterline—drivers must follow the posted emergency detour as the closure began at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and ends at 9:00 a.m. today.  WITN

  • The West Craven Eagles defeated the Washington Pam Pack 36-6 on Friday at 7 p.m. when the ENC High School Football Game of the Week aired on WITN—with pregame coverage starting at 6:50 p.m.  WITN
