- ➤ Pitt County launched its first county-wide strategic planning process to set long-term service and budget priorities — the initiative will use an online survey on Social Pinpoint and work with BerryDunn to gather resident input. Residents will have the chance to shape the plan by attending community forums scheduled for October 7 at Ayden Middle School Library, October 8 at Pitt Community College and North Pitt High School Library, October 9 at the Cultural Arts & Recreation Center in Greenville, and October 16 via a virtual event.
