  • NBA coach Rico Hines (a Pitt County native) led the 2nd Annual 'Know Your Big Picture' Youth Basketball Clinic (hosted by Horizons Pitt County) at South Central High School on Saturday, sharing basketball skills with boys and girls aged 6 to 18. Many players traveled from across the state and Hines received a proclamation from Winterville’s mayor, Richard Hines.  WITN
  • East Carolina beat Coastal Carolina 38-0 on Saturday night with Katin Houser throwing for 293 yards and two touchdowns while the defense made five turnovers—improving the team’s record to 2-1. The team will play BYU at home next Saturday.  WITN
