- ➤ A hours-long standoff in Pantego ended when police took a man into custody, sheriff said—authorities are investigating the incident. WITN
- ➤ A 20-year-old man named Andre Bass was arrested after he dragged two Greenville police officers during a traffic stop on Saturday when he sped away in a 35 mph zone at 45 mph — he faces charges for resisting an officer, assault with a deadly weapon, fleeing arrest and drug possession and will appear in court Monday at 1:30 p.m. WITN
- ➤ Law enforcement agencies from Greenville, Hyde, and Washington counties are in a standoff with a man barricaded in his Pantego home on the 4000 Block of Railroad Bed Road who fired a rifle shot at officers around 12:20 p.m.—no one has been injured. WITN
