- ➤ ECU and a coalition of institutions proposed a 42-county agtech corridor to link small farms with research and technology, according to an RTI report published July 16 — which outlines five key opportunities to boost market access and workforce skills. CROPS partners will soon share the findings and begin beta tests of new extension programs — efforts aimed at helping farmers adopt emerging technologies. East Carolina University

- ➤ Pitt County will broadcast its Board of County Commissioners meetings live at the Eugene James Auditorium on the first and third Mondays at 6:00 p.m.—residents may also watch on PittTV Channel 13 or online at YouTube.
