- ➤ A Greenville man was charged with secret peeping and breaking and entering after he broke into a woman's apartment and placed a camera in her bathroom. The Daily Reflector
- ➤ On Monday morning, deputies investigated a Pitt County home on Dean Drive after neighbors reported hearing gunshots & seeing a car speed off, and officers cleared the scene just after 11 a.m. as the Sheriff's Office sought preliminary details. WITN
- ➤ Greenville police identified officer Carter Irwin—who has nearly four years with the department—as involved in a fatal Hamilton standoff last week in Martin County that killed a man; he has been placed on administrative duties while the SBI investigates the shooting. WITN
- ➤ Greenville police arrested Nathali Warren, age 42, yesterday after he stabbed a man in the ear at Dream Park on Manhattan Avenue and he is held at Pitt County Jail on a $150,000 bond. WITN

- ➤ Pitt County Schools announced new principals for two elementary schools—this change comes on the first day of summer break—while the district gets ready for the new school year. The Daily Reflector
