- ➤ A Greenville officer — assisting with a standoff in Hamilton, Martin County — shot and killed a suspect early today, authorities said. The Daily Reflector
- ➤ Greenville Police said a man barricaded himself in a Hamilton home and fired multiple shots outside before a Greenville officer fatally shot him last night during a standoff + Martin County deputies had asked for the department’s Emergency Response Team + the SBI is investigating the case while the officer remains on administrative assignment.
