  • On Memorial Day, several events across eastern North Carolina will honor fallen service members, including a service + wreath-laying at the Carteret County courthouse in Beaufort, a ceremony at the Jones County Civic Center in Trenton at 2:30 p.m., and an observance at the Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in ONSLOW County at 11 a.m.  WITN
