  • The Ride of Silence event begins worldwide at 7 p.m. this Wednesday, and Greenville riders are invited to join silent rides that promote road safety as community members prepare for busy Memorial Day travel plus support the Click It or Ticket campaign.  WITN

EDUCATION NEWS

  • A J.H. Rose High School teacher and head soccer coach was suspended Monday just hours before the state playoff game, and school officials are reviewing their next steps.  The Daily Reflector

  • East Carolina University hosted its annual sustainability symposium today at the East Carolina Heart Institute in Greenville, where over 60 educators, industry leaders & students discussed clean energy solutions and workforce initiatives.  WITN

  • Greenville law enforcement is joining the state’s Click It or Ticket campaign ahead of Memorial Day travel, reminding drivers to buckle up and help prevent injuries. Increased patrols across the region will support safe road use during busy travel days.  WITN
