  • Sheriff Tyrone Ruffin said that Jar’quez Deloatch (23) surrendered this morning to deputies and is charged with first degree murder in connection with the killing of Greenville man Brent Dixon (21), who was shot outside Aulander on April 10.  WITN

  • Greenville residents celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Monday with discounted tacos, cervezas, and large pitchers of margaritas as local diners enjoyed a festive meal.
