- ➤ On Friday (Apr. 24), ECU's Board of Trustees approved Phil Lewis as the new dean of the College of Engineering and Technology. He will lead the college as ECU strengthens its engineering programs. The Daily Reflector

- ➤ ECU Head Women’s Basketball Coach Kim McNeill has agreed to a contract extension that will keep her in Greenville through the 2028/29 season — she was named 2023 American Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Pirates to a program record of 22 wins in 2025/26. WITN
