- ➤ North Carolina DEQ is working with NCEM on a $12.9m drainage and stream restoration project at East Fire Tower Road in Greenville—this project will improve culverts to lower flood levels and remove 26 properties from the 100-year floodplain; it is in the design phase and will finish by late 2027 or early 2028.
