- ➤ Today, the Greenville Museum of Art said it will begin a vault makeover this summer using a $75,000 federal matching grant along with extra money from local charities (the Mildred Sheffield Wells Charitable Trust and the Eddie and Allison Jo Smith Family Foundation). - ➤ Sylvan Heights Bird Park is hosting free events each Saturday in April as part of the North Carolina Science Festival, with the biggest event on Earth Day, April 19th, offering exhibits and activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The park will also host Save the Frogs Day on April 26th and hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Penguin Point aviary on June 7th—planned to be completed by 2026.
