  • Mobile business owners in Greenville report rising gas prices are straining their budgets. They plan to adjust service pricing and schedules as fuel costs continue to climb + impact operating costs.  WITN
  • Gas prices in North Carolina average $3.95 per gallon despite falling oil prices. East Carolina University professor Nicholas Rupp said stations are slow to lower prices, so consumers may have to wait a few weeks for a change.  WITN

EDUCATION NEWS

  • ECU’s Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities suspended Phi Kappa Tau for four years after detecting hazing and policy violations. The decision was announced today.  WITN
  • Pitt County Schools held a listening tour today to address concerns about budget cuts and class sizes in local schools. School leaders encouraged community input to help shape future decisions.  WITN
