- ➤ The Junior League of Greenville is hosting its G-Vegas Night fundraiser this weekend to raise funds for local projects. Attendees can expect themed activities and opportunities to support community causes. WITN
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A new college building will open in May as part of a campus expansion to upgrade study areas and accessibility features for students. The facility is designed to support improved learning environments in Greenville. WITN
- ➤ ECU Career Services is hosting two career fairs tomorrow at the Greenville Convention Center. The Science, Engineering and Technology Fair runs from 8:30-11:30 a.m. while the Job and Internship Fair, open to current students and alumni, runs from 1-4 p.m. Employers will also conduct on-campus interviews Thursday. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Andrew Schmidt, president and CEO of Visit Greenville at the Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau, will retire on June 30 after a 32-year career in tourism. The bureau has opened its job application process for his role with eligible candidates asked to apply by March 31 (deadline). WITN
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A boil water advisory remains in effect today in Ayden after an emergency main repair caused low water pressure along Lee Street (between West Barwick Street and Allen Drive); residents must boil water for one minute before use or use bottled water. WITN
