- ➤ A Greenville Food Lion on East 10th Street reopened Saturday after an electrical fire occurred Tuesday that caused no injuries or damage—store maintenance was complete and it returned to regular hours. WITN

- ➤ A Canadian goose was captured by Outer Banks Wildlife and local groups on June 18 after an arrow was found lodged in its neck, and it was treated and released on June 24 to return to its mate in a nearby pond (nicknamed Pete). WITN

- ➤ Rep. Don Davis will introduce a bill to improve rural healthcare and support the reopening of Martin General Hospital. The proposal aims to boost care access for residents—promising changes in hospital operations in the near future. WITN
