- ➤ The Embers featuring Craig Woolard will perform at 6 p.m. today at ECU Tailgate Plaza outside Dowdy-Ficklin Stadium while the town common is under construction — food trucks and cold beverages by the Greenville Junior League will be available, but coolers are not allowed. WITN

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ ECU Health CEO testified before a U.S. House committee on Wed, Apr. 29, discussing rural health care challenges that affect Greenville, while local doctors (united in their concerns) called for changes to improve patient care. WITN
- ➤ ECU Health confirmed Wednesday that its providers are now out of network with UnitedHealthcare, affecting its clinics, hospitals, and facilities for Medicaid patients (except legacy ECUP). Some patients have switched doctors while emergency care remains at in-network rates. WITN
