- ➤ ECU employee Kim Morris will soon graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in psychology at the spring commencement; her daughters, sisters and father will attend to honor a long family legacy at the university. East Carolina University

- ➤ ECU Health CEO Dr. Michael Waldrum testified Tuesday in Washington, D.C. before lawmakers about rural health care challenges in eastern counties — he said high costs and burdensome paperwork make access difficult for local residents. WITN
