- ➤ Dozens gathered on Monday at 10 a.m. at CM Eppes Middle School in Greenville to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by marching to the Pitt County courthouse; local groups including the Pitt Co. Coalition Against Racism and North of the River Association organized the event. WITN
- ➤ Earlier today, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Pitt County organized a donation drive at the Blackbox Theater honoring Dr. King, collecting food for ECU's Williams-Rose Purple Pantry and clothing for foster children. - ➤ The Noodles & Company at 3030 Evans Street in Greenville shut its doors for dine-in service in December, though online orders continued. Officials announced that 30 to 35 more restaurants across the nation will close in 2026. WITN
